The project consists of a large greenhouse with the classic double roof covering structure. One of the two slopes has been completely covered with photovoltaic panels that are useful to the energy-saving of the greenhouse. Hence the need to find a product to be applied on the roof to minimize the shadowing effect of photovoltaic panels to provide maximum natural lighting to the underlying crops while on the wall it reduces as much as possible the condensation phenomenon also causes a reduction of natural lighting.
The solution to the design needs was the application of the TOPLIGHT sheets produced by PolyWorld Systems.
The TOPLIGHT W 76/18 wave “Micro” has been applied on the roof and thanks to a special microprismatized internal finish combined with the classic wave shape 76/18 maximizes the diffusion of solar radiation by allowing light to reach even the areas that would remain in the shade due to the installation of photovoltaic panels.
For the walls, the choice fell on TOPLIGHT W 76/18 wave “Millerighe”, which thanks to the special patented “anti-drip” inner finishing, minimizes the formation of condensation typical of the greenhouses maximizing natural lighting.
Thanks to the solution offered by PolyWorld Systems, the customer has achieved the goals set exceeding his own expectations. The use of the TOPLIGHT W 76/18 Wave “Micro”, with its micro-prismatic finish, almost cancels the shade generated by photovoltaic panels while the walls made with TOPLIGHT W 76/18 Wave “Millerighe” guarantee the usual performance in terms of brightness and reduction of the condensation.
